ImageBurnham Market is a beautiful small village just a few miles from the north coast of Norfolk. Often called Norfolk's loveliest village, Burnham Market offers scenery, good food and pubs, decent shops and most importantly, somewhere to sit and rest awhile.

Set amongst the Norfolk countryside, Burnham Market attracts visitors from all over the UK. Nearby are world class beaches, flint pebble banks and salt marshes. There are a number of art galleries, theatres and some excellent pubs and restaurants.

Burnham Market seems to have an energy all year round that keeps bringing visitors back. The heart of the village is the green, and there are a number of interesting shops to browse which cater for most needs.

Most of the local houses dates from the 17th or 18th century. There are two churches, and two nearby golf courses - Hunstanton and Royal West-Norfolk.

The surrounding areas are famous for birdlife, and you can take boat trips to see the local seal population. The nearby harbours are busy with fishing and sailing boats, and the local beaches are ideal for watersports and kiting.

You can take a relaxed walk along Peddars Way, the ancient Roman road which runs from Knettishall in Suffolk to nearby Holme-next-the-Sea. At Holme, it meets the Norfolk Coast path, which runs from Hunstanton to Cromer.

Burnham Market and North Norfolk offer a variety of activities all year round, so book your holiday today and make the most of one of the Uk's best-loved regions.
